She grew up in Kuala Lumpur and has lived & worked in Singapore and New York. She is currently based in London, where she can be found picking up a new plant, holding too many things at once, or mid-walk to your favorite coffee spot. She speaks English, Mandarin, French, and slightly off-lilted Cantonese.

She is the winner of the 2021 Streetcake Magazine experimental writing contest, a poetry finalist for the Lumiere Review’s 2021 writing contest, and was longlisted for the 2023 Palette Poetry Rising Poet Prize. Her writing has also appeared or is forthcoming in: The Offing, Nimrod Journal (print), AAWW’s The Margins, Neologism Poetry Journal, Malaysian Poetry Writing Month, Medium, the NYU Brio Literary Journal (print), and elsewhere. Her work often centers on themes of place, translation, body, belonging, and otherness.

Her first zine, Always Hungry, is a love letter to her favorite foods.

Mostly just a human trying her best at being.

In parallel, she works on international sales strategy at a global tech company, which you can read more about here.
